PRSI, Ahmedabad Chapter Gets Three National Awards
~ Best Chapter, Best Newsletter, and Best Website ~
Ahmedabad, October 4, 2012: The Ahmedabad chapter of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) received PRSI National Awards for Best Chapter, Best Newsletter, and Best Website category.
The award was given at the hands of Mr. Arye Juggesseur, High Commissioner of Mauritius; and Mr. Ajay Mittal, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Govt. of Himachal Pradesh; respectively in recently concluded 34th PRSI National Conference at Shimla between 29th September and 1st October, 2012. Mr. Dilip Chauhan, Chairman and Mr. R K Singh, Secretary, and Mr. Shashikant, Member, PRSI, Ahmedabad chapter, received the awards on behalf of the chapter. Dr Ajit Pathak, National PRSI President and Mr. Unmesh Dixit, National Vice President-West were also present on this occasion. The Ahmedabad chapter achieved the distinction of getting such awards in third consecutive year.
PRSI Ahmedabad chapter during last 30 months organized different programmes in sectors like Healthcare, Banking, Information Technology, Self Development, Media, Road Safety, Ethics, Infrastructure, Defence and Government, Grassroot Innovations, Civic bodies, Cancer awareness etc. The chapter also plans to organize various programmes on the sectors like Co-operatives, Spirituality etc in the coming months.
The four page quarterly newsletter was relaunched on 29th July, 2010. The colorful newsletter provides information about the programme and the happenings in PR field.
The PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter website was relaunched on 25th September; 2010.The simple and informative website enables the visitors for ready and timely updated information about the Ahmedabad Chapter and its ongoing programmes. The website till date attracted many visitors and instrumental to generate widespread awareness about Public Relations.
