Ahmedabad, December 02, 2012: She was born at Rajkot and did her schooling and college from Rajkot. She then started her professional career from Mumbai. Then she came to Amdavad and joined Gujarat State Export Corporation Ltd., a Govt. undertaking and held the position of Public Relations Manager for a long time. She had excellent relations with Govt. Officers, Advertising people and media. She was an excellent P.R. person. She was holding the position of Executive committee member of P.R.S.I. Gujarat chapter for long time and also a member of National Council of Public Relations society of India for quite some time. She attended number of General Body Meetings and Executive committee meetings of National council.

Her excellent P.R. work was again seen in I.I.T.F.(Every year at India International Trade Fair) where she had to prepare design for the Pavilion, register delegates, prepare speech for chief minister and look after dignitaries visiting Pavilion. She was very selective for the programmes to be staged on Gujarat Day, every year, when Chief Minister would also remain present. She had excellent relations with executives of I.I.T.F. as well. Gujarat used to be ‘most visited’ pavilion by the people because of her ability, Gujarat Pavilion won Gold medal, silver medals and certificates of merits during her tenure. She also visited various countries and held Exhibitions and took delegations of Gujarat trade and Industries, several times. She earned high respects as one of the executives of Gujarat State Export Corporation.

She was also associated with Ahmedabad Management Association and worked as committee member for number of years.

She took retirement from Gujarat State Export Corporation and joined Cadila’s school i.e. Zydus school for excellence as an executive and worked for several years. She earned respects from Cadila’s executives for arranging Navratri Garba and other events.

She was a wonderful human being. She was a helping hand for poor and neglected. She helped artisans in particular to go abroad and exhibit Gujarat’s Art & Craft.

She got ‘ Manad Seva’ award as a first woman from Vishwa Gujarati Samaj. She took and carried out project after project for Vishwa Gujarati Samaj. The last project she carried out in Ahmedabad Jail for prisoners. It attracted the attention of everybody and Vishwa Gujarati Samaj got a piece of land in Jail itself to carry out activites of Vishwa Gujarati Samaj. She was on the Executive committee of Vishwa Gujarati Samaj.

She was like a ‘PARASMANI’ i.e. whom so ever she touched they became great.

She left for heavenly on 29th November, 2012.

Let us pray Almighty to rest her soul in peace !
